Individual Therapy

I am a Pro-Bono Counseling Project Volunteer- Currently my reduced fee and pro bono spots are full for individual therapy.

  • 50 minutes - $205

  • Initial Intake - $245

Assessment and Letters for Gender Affirming SurgeryIn line with the GALAP I offer no charge letters after the first (1) visit. Please note that due to the large demand /quantity of requests and newer to full time private practice i have budgeted and planned spots outside of my working session hours of Monday through Thursday, so there sessions are Friday early afternoons and there is one available per week and these often are filled for the current or upcoming week though you can certainly ask . For anyone who prefers to not use one of these free spots you also can have the option to meet during billable session hours to pay for your one time assessment- the letter is still free and the payment for the assessment gets funneled right into covering low fee spots.

Letters for Gender Affirming Surgery

I provide pay what you can letters for gender affirming surgery after one visit as part of an informed consent process for gender affirming care. I aim to reduce the experience of gatekeeping and to provide an easy, affirming experience.. I do not charge for the time outside of the session writing the letter and so the cost is for an intake/diagnostic assessment ($245). Pay what you can appointments are offered on fridays. Whenever someone is able to pay the full fee it helps to increase the number of low fee and pro bono spots I can offer each month for letters. When determining your fee, you’re encouraged to take into account a variety of factors including if you can submit a superbill for out of network reimbursement code 90791 (diagnostic assessment) for those with out of network benefits. In the end you are the expert on your finances and needs and you pick a fee with no questions asked or proof/documentation needed.

Fees and cancellation policies

I am an out of network therapist and accept Hsa And FSA cards, credit cards, Zelle and Venmo. For EMDR intensives payment plans are available and you can seek reimbursement through out of network for the first 60 minutes of each intensive if you have out of network benefits. My cancelation policy requires 24 hours or more notice so that I have time to offer the spot to a therapy client or consultee. Not showing or canceling in under 24 hours is the cost of a full session however whenever possible I waive it if you are able to schedule into an open spot in the same week if available.

Good Faith Estimate : No Surprises Act

If you are uninsured or insured but self-pay, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) for services. These estimates may change as the treatment progresses and are not a guarantee of treatment frequency, length or cost. If estimates or services are added or changed, you will receive a new GFE. Your signature does not create a contract or require you to receive psychotherapy services from me.

The information provided in the Good Faith Estimate is only that: an estimate. Actual healthcare items, services, or charges may differ or change throughout the year, even for long-term established clients. For new clients, I may revise your estimate once we have met and discussed more details around your symptoms, likely diagnoses, severity, and treatment plan, which may not be reflected in the Good Faith Estimate you initially receive. However, I will never schedule healthcare services or items without client consent, and clients may request an updated Good Faith Estimate at any time.

You will receive your estimate after we have determined that we will be working together, and will be revised if it appears to be more than $400 off the estimate you have been given.
