Neurodiversity and Gender Affirming Care
We provide neurodiversity affirming EMDR intensives to adults of all genders as well as therapeutic services that center and uplift neurodivergent, trans and/or non-binary youth and adults. Our specializations include disordered eating, PTSD, OCD, autistic burnout recovery and peer support group facilitation in the context of gender affirming care along with consultation/ training for professionals.
Meet the Practice Owner
Shir Wolf (they/he), LCSW-C is a transmasculine & nonbinary, queer neurodivergent therapist with 18 years of experience in peer support group facilitation and 10.5 years experience as a therapist for children, teens, and adults.
Shir is EMDR certified and an Approved consultant with EMDRIA. They are also a member Of EMDRIA, the Pro Bono Counseling Project, The International OCD Foundation, and the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH).
In addition to their continued advancement in EMDR protocols and procedures, Shir’s ongoing learning has included the completion of a 36 hour intensive Queer Trans IFS intensive with Dr Sand Chang, completion of year 1 of Somatic Experiencing, intensive training in inference-based CBT for OCD through the OCD Training School and “Decolonizing Therapy for Black Folks” with Dr. Shawna Murray Brown (2020 cohort). Shir has completed all foundational and advanced training with WPATH for child, adolescent and adult gender affirming care.
Shir’s interests include playing instruments, electronic music making, synthesizer sound design and gardening. Shir enjoys spending time with family, friends and animals and being rooted in trans and queer community.
